About: Special production for a German Distributor, limited to 250 units. Two units were available per month to the US via www.toddthevinyljunkie.com for a limited time. The Grado PS 1 is the most expensive of the Grado line. It retailed for around 1400 US. Its 1250EUR price in Germany was consistent with the distributor pricing for the current top of the line model - the RS-1's.
Free Systems Grado Limited Edition

About: A partnership between headphone manufacturer Grado and wireless technologies manufacturer FreeSystems, the FreeSystems Grado Limited Edition was a proposed hifi wireless headphone system which included an integrated Grado RA 1 amplifier (as mentioned above), headphones which have a physical appearance similar to that of the Grado PS 1 (as mentioned above), and a Free Systems infra-red transmitter and receiver. The RRP was $3,800. The system was intended for release by February 2002, but was never released. [1]
