Rolling Stone is a U.S.-based magazine devoted to music, politics, and popular culture that is published every two weeks. Rolling Stone was founded in San Francisco in 1967 by Jann Wenner (who is still editor and publisher) and music critic Ralph J. Gleason.

The magazine was named for the 1948 Muddy Waters song of the same name. The magazine was known for its political coverage beginning in the 1970s, with the enigmatic and controversial gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson. Rolling Stone magazine changed its format in the 1990s to appeal to younger readers, often focusing on young television or film actors and pop music. This led to criticism that the magazine was emphasizing style over substance. In recent years, the magazine has resumed its traditional mix of content, including in-depth political stories, and has seen its circulation increase.

The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in April 1962 by guitarist and harmonica player Brian Jones, pianist Ian Stewart, vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts completed the early lineup. At inception the band's material was heavily weighted with rhythm and blues material. They are credited for raising the international regard for the more primitive blues typified by Chess Records' artists such as Muddy Waters who wrote "Rollin' Stone", the song after which the band is named

Bob Dylan的一首名曲也叫Like A Rolling Stone。

不过我觉得Suede的A New Morning不错。

紧随其后的是滚石乐队的《(I Can't Get No)Satisfaction》和约翰·列农的《Imagine》。

001 - Bob Dylan - 1965 - Highway 61 Revisited

002 - The Beach Boys - 1966 - Pet Sounds

003 - The Beatles - 1966 - Revolver

004 - The Beatles - 1967 - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

005 - Love - 1967 - Forever Changes

006 - Pink Floyd - 1967 - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
