Subject: RE: questions on M102 bi-amp set-up with Capri
Importance: High
In mainland China , I am among the few who uses the latest Capri-102-PC1 combo. All my gear are ordered and shipped from your Hongkong dealer. The source for checking my questions are limited even your hongkong dealer cannot asnwer them well. That is why I am writing to JRDG directly. I have read some article on the Japanese magazine Stereo Sound which sings highly of the capri + M102 bi-amp set-up and that is why I am curious to know the details.
Some further questions:
1. In the bi-amp set-up you have mentioned, if i will use 1 x m102 to drive tweeter and 1 x m102 to drive the woofer, i will then connect xlr interconnect bewteen capri and 1 m102 to drive tweeter and rca interconnect with rca/xlr adapter bewteen the rca end of capri and xlr end of 102 to drive the woofer? Can you recommend any brand of rac/xlr adapter in the market, Cardas,Nuetrik or others? Can I order from JRDG dealer in Hongkong? Regarding the 2 sets of speaker cable and interconnect, do I need to use the same brand/model of cabling or it does not matter?
2. I have a PC-1 currently set up to feed m102s amp only. The custom-made power cord adapter supplied with PC1 is just too short and inconvenient for installation. I am also planning to use PC 1 to feed 102 amp and capri pre at the same time. Is it feasible? In that case, I will need special "Y" type cable linking pc1 with capri and 102 at the same time. Any requirement on the length of cable? can JRDG advise where I can order (probably from JRDG dealer in HK?) If not, can I have it custom-made in China? Any particular requirement for such cable eg. maximum length as it carries DC so probably as short as it can be but what will be the maximum limit?
Waiting anxiously to your kind answer.
Just a little snapshot of my current system set-up for your ref.

Best regards,
Bruce Shen
