Pro Musica是什么意思？
国外有很多以当地地名命名的Pro Musica交响乐团，不知道这个Pro Musica是什么意思？请高人指点，应该是德语吧，是不是职业音乐家的意思？如果有英文的Pro Musica解释，希望能给我个链接看看

Vienna Pro Musica Orchestra跟Vienna Symphony Orchestra到底是什么关系？网上有人说因为维也纳交响乐团因为VOX唱片合约版权的问题临时改名为Vienna Pro Musica Orchestra，谁能给我一个英文的出处？万分感谢！ 不可能是德语，很可能是拉丁语，估计是“爱乐”的意思;P :$ 我查到以下这段文字，可以验证楼主的说法。According to Mark Kluge, the problem of the names of the Vienna orchestra that recorded with Horenstein on Vox is simpler than we sometimes thought. The Vienna Symphony Orchestra signed a contract with Philips in April of 1952; after that, it was still free to record with other labels, but not under its own name. The name Vienna State Philharmonia was used for a short period by Vox to disguise Vienna Symphony recordings, but that resulted in a suit by the Vienna Philharmonic (objecting that the closeness of the pseudonym to their own name resulted in unfair competition). Vox thenceforward used the name Vienna Pro Musica for its Vienna Symphony recordings. Vox did not like paying for a lot of rehearsal time, however, so some of the recorded performances are a bit scrappy, nothwithstanding the excellence of the band. 谢谢小白的帮助
但是Pro Musica是什么意思呢？呵呵 pro musica就是“爱乐”的意思。在拉丁语系里，musica就是英语里的music。pro是“喜爱”“贴近”的意思，连起来就是“爱乐”，大致相当于英语里的philharmonic（英语里phil这个前缀也是喜爱的意思）。维也纳交响这个乐队挺聪明的，既然根据和Philips的合同，不允许他为Vox录音时使用维也纳交响乐队的名字，那就用拉丁语系的pro musica，其实意思就变成“维亚纳爱乐”了，但真正的维也纳爱乐也无法去告他，因为一个是pro musica，一个是philharmonic，完全不同的名字，即使意思相近。
[ 本帖最后由 小白 于 2012-9-20 21:52 编辑 ] 乐坛里的逸事还真多啊 Vox的唱片里经常可见这个Vienna Pro Musica乐队。我第一次看到也觉得不认识，后来才知就是维也纳交响乐队的马甲。 巧了，正在听VOX出的霍伦斯坦指挥Vienna Pro Musica Orchestra的“布九”和“马一”。
